  14. I'm searching for an IDE HD availible today and is working perfectly in an A4000.
  15. Does somebody have a recomandation ?

  17. The problems I have are :
  18.     1) The machine (3.0OS) doesn't recognize the HD untill 2. reboot.
  19.     2) Large files are corrupted (I must lower maxtransfer, and thus performance)
  20.  
  21. I used to use Seagate ST3491A (407MB) and was happy, but Seagate discontinnued
  22. this drive. I bought an ST31270A (1.3GB) but it fails on point 1). I have in order
  23. a ST51080A (1GB), but I don't know if it works perfectly yet.

  25. I stick to Seagate since most Quantum IDE disks I've tried fail on point 2.
  26.  
  27. I don't need much more than 400MB, but 1GB drives cost almost the same, so..
